Smoking
In the interest of fire safety as well as preserving our healthy atmosphere; please refrain from any kind of smoking. Violations of our smoke-free policy will result in a charge of $250.00 per guestroom. Thank You for your cooperation.
Safety
For the safety of the animals as well as your own please refrain from running, chasing, teasing, shouting or otherwise disturbing the environment that we try so hard to cultivate.
Gates and Fencing
It is critical that you never climb any fencing or enter any gated or chain link area.
Feeding the Animals
To maintain the animals’ healthy diets, it is very important that you never feed or even attempt to feed any of them. For the same reason, never throw anything into or even near any of the animal enclosures.
Parking
We provide parking for one (1) car in the front of the living area and two (2) cars near the back end of the barn. There is an additional charge for additional cars, buses or motor homes. Extra vehicles must be parked in assigned areas.
Damages
If any property is broken or missing following your stay, it’s replacement cost will be charged to your credit card.
Candles
For fire safety, it is critical that no candles be lit anywhere except at the patio area on the dining table.
Cancellation
You may cancel your reservation without charge if done fourteen (14) days before your reserved stay. Later cancellation will result in retention of fifty percent (50%) of your deposit.
Service Charges
Items consumed from the mini-fridge and/or snacks and wine will be charged to your credit card. There is an additional 22% service charge for these items.
Rates/Rules
The fee Schedule and House Rules provided upon check in are a part of this agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the California Civil Code, the civil liability of the owner, acting in its capacity as an innkeeper, is hereby limited Cal Civil Code 1859 et seq.
Mediation
In the event of any dispute (other than for the collection of money), the parties shall first mediate in San Diego County before an experienced attorney or retired judge. The forum and venue for any civil action shall be San Diego County. The prevailing party in all disputes shall be entitled to an award of reasonable attorney’s fees.
